Which one will you be attending Pete? Nov. or Jan.?
Well, if my wife is kind, both... I'm supposed to be saving funds for a house downpayment in the next year or so (it's hard when there's so much cool tying material out there!). But as of now, just the Nov show - it'll be a "birthday present" (Nov 14th). Plus, I checked the callendar and the sowbug DOESN'T conflict with the Ft. Washington show (a weekend apart), but now I have to convince my wife to let me pay for a plane ticket to get from Philadelphia to arkansas, and then I need to request off of work for that thursday and friday (not a problem - I get 6 weeks off a year, being a grad student on NIH funds).
Besides that, I've been tying for ?? years (I think 10 or 11, but don't quote me on that), yet only fishing a little over 1... I'm one of the odd few who got into the tying for the entymology, all before the fly- fishing. And yet, somehow I went through all of those boxes upon boxes of flies in the one year I have been fishing. I have a tendency to catch more trees than fish... Anyhow, the tying symposium is more up my alley, to be honest. That's why I'm all THRILLED about this life-cycle swap! I doubt I'll be able to tie realistics for it (kinda my "thing") but I'll see how many I get done in the next 4 months or so.
Well, I've rambled long enough here. Tight wraps, Pete
