Don, I can't recall how many miles from Wildcat to "downtown" Mountain Home. It is a fifteen or twenty minute drive as I remember. Tony could tell you the exact miles. Wildcat Shoals is in Flippin, not that far from the main drag. As far as eating, you can go see what you can find in terms of restaurants in Flippin or drive to Mountain Home, or cook your own food in the kitchen at Wildcat Shoals. The driving bit is because if my blood sugar is low (I check my blood sugar everytime before getting behind the wheel, gets too low and you start to lose motor control), i have to eat some high carbohydrate food and keep checking the blood sugar. Sometimes it takes a while to get it where it supposed to be.
