Got to go out yesterday afternoon. Temps near 60 degrees and just a slight breeze at times. I could see fish moving around in the water. The were very skittish. Used long casts and would get one or two out of each area I cast to. Lost more fish after the hook up than I caught. I could see crappie roll on the fly and then they would get off. Had gills jump out of the water and I would barely have them lip hooked and they would be off. Still it was great fun. Messed up the timing and was filletting fish by the back porch light.
