Its no longer produced. I think that it was a material for darning socks and is a pinky beige colour. I will TRY to get a decent photo of the material and send it to you direct then you can try to find your own sub. Its wool and not synthetic.
I have made a couple of pics of a dry and a wet SKB and will send them to you if you wish

Thanks for the many replies. I'm interested in the Killer bug beige..think that it looks to be a bit of a pink/beige in color. No longer can find Chadwick's 477. Anyone who has a bit of that yarn who can run to the nearest handwork shop and check it out against DMC yarns? I await any further news..Joyce
