Wow! I had exactly the opposite experience. I had an eye break off the first time I wore the Danner Boots. Contact them and they said too bad - you can send them in and pay postage and maybe we will get them back to you in a few months. Then they ripped, I contacted them and the same thing. Plus they said I might have to pay for the repair.
I promised myself I would never buy anything from Danner nor would I ever recommend them to others. Maybe they have decided that customer service is something that they need to improve on because they were the worst company I have ever dealt with in flyfishing.
