Yes, I knew where they are from... but this was the closest thing to an excuse I could make up in so little time. ;o) Where in the UK do you live? We're there a couple of times a year, so maybe we could hook up over a cup of coffee... sorry... TEA (fly fair or not).

With that level of indiscipline i think on this occasion we will forgive
you.
BC was after all a British colony once upon a time.
As for most of us being from the US, Henk and Martin are from Holland (?)
Tim is from the USA and Ashley and i are Brits.
Now that we MAY not forgive
LOL

Yepp! Since I lack self discipline enough to delete old messages I have 1137 mails in my inbox and 6249 in my deleteds folder... and therefore I can see that September 17th I missed an entire BFF discussion between you, Tim Trexler, Ashley, Henk Veerhar and Martin Westbeek. It seems as if I have to come up with a good excuse. So...

"Since most of you are from US, I thought the fair was in British Colombia."

Good enough? (No, I didn't think so either...) ;o)

Keith, I've made a whole new dictionary of foul language while taring my hair over that the US fairs are so far away. Knowing about this British one eases up the misery. If you're going to the next one, I'd most likely be there. It would be nice to meet you too... and if I only had known about this one sooner, chance is that we might have met already.

Well guys what a good day. I met Hans W for the first time along with Martin

Westbeek. Richard Ross was there and we chatted but I didnt realise I was
talking to him !! Dope or what?? Said hello to Gordon Mackenzie and passed
on your regards Tony. Henk was there too but I didnt get to talk to him.
Also met Tim Trexler and his good lady.Tim and Hans were featured tiers and
did a great job IMHO. Hans is probably back in Holland now and getting ready

for a work trip to the US. He has to be at the airport for 5am. I think he
may sleep most of the way to the US. Mike Martinek and Charlie Chute were
there along with about 30 other brilliant tiers. There was some pretty good
trade stands too. It was like kiddy's in a sweety

shop!! I won a raffle prize too!! A tool case for tying materials. LOL. I
called in to the Celtic stand Iain but Jon was off the stand when I was
there. Did you tell him I was coming?? Great day out folks and well worth
the couple of hours driving. If you come over for the next one Nick let me
know. Would be nice to meet you.

See you there then, Tony. I'm going to try hard to get there. Cost is what keeps me from visiting US fly fairs. British ones won't do that. There are low-prize airlines from Sweden. And it wouldn't be hard to talk Teresa into it either. Since she's from England, it's in her own interest to go there too... visiting her family.

If I had known about this sooner, I probably would have been there this year
too. But I guess it's too late to go today. Hans Weilenmann and Paul
Whillock are probably packing down their stuff by now, so...
