This is an example of the practical prankster mindset that was Alan Bramley, like the Yorkshire flybody hook, or the swedish mayfly hook, or the K9 dog nobbler hook. Or of course the John Betts no-point Touch-And-Go (TAG) LDR hook. I doubt if we'll ever see similar hook styles introduced now Mustad runs Partridge...
