I ran  out of white calf tail that I was using as the wing on my Gunney sack.  Well, I didn't run out, but all I had left of it was some curly hair out near the tip, so I just tied a curly wing on the rest of them.  One smart A** asked me if I tied all my flies with the curl.  I told him only on my Gunney Sacks, that I loved curly white calf tail,  and that it didn't make a dang bit of difference to the fish.  Right after that I must have had a dozen people come up wanting one of my "curly tail" Gunney Sacks.  Word gets around. :-P

That's interesting. I saw none of that at Sowbug.
What was scary
was when I was sitting there tying away and realized
that Mr.
World-Famous Personality was sitting on the other
side of the table
watching me.

Never saw any of that when I sat in for Misa for a
couple hours at Sowbug. Certainly never got bothered
by any World Famous Personality. Talked to a bunch of
little kids, though and a handful of big kids. -Jeff
