And if you want to know even more of weaving, check the FTBR of course - pages 195 through 203: banded weave, parallel weave, mossback weave, overhand weave, Pott's weave, Half-hitch weave, crisscross weave, dpotted strip weave, mottled weave, crotchet weave. FTBR also shows the woven hackle (374).
Great book - and I heard that Ted Leeson plans a sequel with additional techniques.

Don, Grant has two other weaves in his book; Mossback and Creeper. The former via Dan Bailey and the latter from Grant. I'll send you the sketches and a one page comparison of the 3 weaves if you like. Another source of weaves is Fly-Tying Methods by Darrel Martin.
