Iain,
I have long clear polar bear, which is probably pretty similar when
stranded.  But I would like to try the clear stallion, as the underbody
could really be played with then (and I could save my PB for better uses).
On your recipe, I would do everything but the varnishing.  These Potts weave
flies feel really different with the loose weave hair.

Did you get the photo of the shark-fly?
