Gary, Joe Rozio owner of the Rockland House here in town is down there right
now. He has a house there in Ft. Myers and lives there during this time of
year and the rest of the winter. He fishes but mostly spin fishes as he
never learned to fly fish. The main thing he goes after is Snook, Jacks and
the occassional Red Fish. I would imagine a Clouser is the number one fly
for you to have with you. Sizes from 2 to 2/0, and in a varity of color
combinations. Brown and white, chartruse and white, pink and white, blue and
white, all with and without Krystal Flasy in them. After that i'd have
Decievers (Lefty's) in different sizes and colors again. If you don't do
squat with those, chances are it's not the fly...dig? Those two patterns
alone have accounted for so many fish, all other flies pale in comparsion.
But of course you can always hit the local fly shop and be sold any number
of things, he he he. mark
