I have a page that shows a Renzetti make over , but I dont think it will
work with mine. My vise has a plastic topped tightening screw, not a metal one as
shown. Any help out there????
My original Renzetti Traveler, and the older ones had the metal. At some
point they went to the plastic. I don't like the plastic as much as the
metal. Metal just seems stronger. We (the Catskill Fly Tyers Guild) bought
15 Renzetti Travelers to use when we teach kids about 5 yrs. back. They all
don't seem to work as well as the older models. We got a deal on
them.....about $50 each. Maybe it was because we bought that many at one
time, or because we were going to use them for teaching or both. But they
are a much cheaper product. mark....
