Jimmy:
I think your #'s 1, 2 and 5 can be combined into a single rule:
- Has other people (friends, family, businesses) save material and fly storage containers for them.
Co-workers save their Altoids boxes for me to ship swap and other flies to people.....

1. The photo shop saves their empty clear plastic film cans for me. I store beads and hooks in them
2. I get my little "swap boxes" from the local hardware store each time they get a new shipment of small stuff.
3. The local taxidermists saves deer tails for me.
4. I save our International Coffee cans to put fly tying stuff in.
5. My daughter gives me the small round / flat clear boxes with snap on lids from her scrapbooking store. I use them
to keep single swap flies in.
