"Know" what you mean Tim. I was pretty much just kidding......although.......i'll buy most anything i really like, IF i can truely use it. I just may get into it a bit myself one day. I'm always on the lookout for salmon hooks though. I scored good in Danbury this Nov. Far as the time thing goes, i'm very fortunate not to have to work anymore for the most part, (unless we have students) so i have lots of time to tye. mark

The gold hook was the raw material. The re-worked hook below it was before final polishing and lacquering. Was a 6/0 streamer hook. Now it's a 9/0 hook.
