What about Mega Swaps how many of those? I have done 3 of those. Plus a
few regular ones of 20 to 25 tyers.

Are there enough out there with kids willing to do it? My son did one a
couple years ago ...

Denny? Can you get your grandsons to tie for it?

Anybody else want to tie special flies for the kids who participate?

If there is enough interest, I'm willing to meister it with a May 1
deadline. (which I think gives me my required 5 that Jimmy laid down...)

Living would be easier if men showed as much patience at
home as they do when they're fishing.

Subject: [VFB] Kid's Fly Swap
Anybody have a young kids (ages 10 - 16) that might be interested in a
kids fly swap. I just thought that it would be nice to have a fly swap for
the youngsters of VFB'rs.
We could limit it to 10 - 15 tyers total, each would tie 10 - 16 fliesand
have the flies due by April 1, 2005
We could then post picts of the flies that were sent in and a brief
description about the tyer and let the VFB members vote on the best fly. May
be there could be a $10 gift cert. to Lines end for the winner and each tyer
would recieve the same number of flies that they sent back.
I however cannot host this event due to not having the abilities to take and
post digital picts.
 This is just an idea.
