My German Shepard loves to chase the deer in my yard, but the bucks have stopped running. It's pretty funny, but really scary, to watch her get into it with them.

My jack Russel terrier agrees with Scottie..

If it moves chase it and catch and eat it ..

he is 14 years old and still catching me blackbirds and pigeons... he is a bit slow for rabbits now...

My Scotties don't care! If it moves they want it, blood thirsty little varmints. sparrow or condor, rat or elephant all the same to them.

I don't know.... yesterday was a particularly bad day for my bird.
Anyone who has tried to have a conversation with me on the phone is probably
wondering what I would define as a bad day. I mentioned to my husband that
morning.... "I wonder how many of these birds end up getting throttled by
their owners in the morning?" He looked very interested in it. I can't
get my dog to eat the bird. He knows it's my pet so he won't touch it. :)
I need a bad dog.
Deb

Deb, one of our (CFTG) members had a Macaw until his dog ate it. But he
brought me a whole **** load of feathers from it, including lots of tails
the day of the first CFTG Rondezvous in 2002.
Unfortunately.......well.....by the end of the day i had passed out about
half of that to droolers, who just couldn't help makin' me feel terrible for

goin' home with it all. So i didn't. He shoulda wacked that dog BEFORE HE
wacked the Macaw. LMAO, mark....
