I had to chuckle at this one. Our beagle is a tad short for her weight also, and when it snows around here (not very often admittedly) she does the same thing! Too funny! Everyone have a very Merry Christmas!

They are such snoops that they dig, with their noses, the paths through the snow for the morning bladder relief. She has fine little snooping trails all around the back yard and as she is also "low to the ground" (translate, too fat) makes a cute rounded out dish type of path.
