Also, if you (like i just did) find a cheap spool of a tan or drab organza wired mini-ribbon (about 1/4 inch wide), cut it right down the middle and wrap it around a nymph for a wonderful buggy- like feel. Just my 2 cents on my after-holiday toys, Pete

And be sure to check out the woven looking gold and silver ribbon that will shortly go on sale. It can be cut for the thorax covers and left as is for stone flies or touched with permanent pen for color. Saw a great article on this several months back in the UK magazine, Flyfising and Flytying. His bugs using the ribbon really looked real. Joyce
