I like that.  What size hook do you use when you tie a bomber for that
purpose?

During one of my World Championships appearances I was nymphing a
grayling river in Wales. Indicators are verboten (as is weight on the
leader) but two flies are permitted. My top fly was a greased orange
deerhair Carter Bug (small Bomber with deerhair tail and no wing). Given
the thread, it takes no imagination to guess which fly enticed the most
strikes (dead-drift).
