OH you LUCKY dog!!!   My personal recommendation would be to NOT fish in the Chicago river!   IMHO….   J   You are going to love it there!   Of course I’m a little biased.  Forget the guide books go to a good fly shop or take a visit to any bait shop in Wis.  Be sure to visit Hayward WI for a nice weekend retreat! Buy Hair-Hackle Tying Techniques & Fly Patterns by Gordon Mackenzie in spiral bound.  Order it if you have to.   It will inspire you to join the demented ranks of VFB renegades……    Enjoy Chicago!  I love it.
