Stayed up till 2am a few days before christams while my Christmas pud boiled away in its calico cloth. (since it takes 4 hours I probably should have started it early than 10pm....).

Come christmas day had a very nice pud with an excellent skin with cream and brandy sauce..

I made an extra large one so there was plently left over to heat in the microwave for snacks ...

yum !

George
since you tried and liked yourshire pudding why not try traditional christmas pudding served with cream, or brandy sauce , or brandy butter.

Well, I managed to get in the kitchen in time to get the drippings from the tenderloin roast and prepared the Yorkshire pudding as per the directions. It turned out great and it was the first time anyone had tried it. Everyone thought that it was great and would certainly try it again. It looked just like the picture on the website. Now if I could only get a new fly pattern to turn out perfect on the first try ..... A Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year to all, George
