Subject: RE: [VFB] CHRISTMAS SWAP
I got a package sent to me that had a $100 value put on it. It costed me about $60 to pick up from the post office. Teresa just told me too, about a girl who sent a $54 value package to her sister in England. It costed her 10 ($19).
Customs are a mean bunch of people. If I worked there, I sure wouldn't brag about it.

We had the first post today since christmas eve, nothing else has arrived yet, we are waiting for several sets of flies and as the christmas return date is now long past we might as well wait for the rest of them. Marks flies are on their way back to him as he had put value 100 dollars on them not an unreasonable price for insurance purposes but when sent internationally this will attract customs charges. (not his fault, his first international fly swap) If sent to england DO NOT PUT ANY VALUE HIGHER THAN 30 DOLLARS. You run the risk of getting customs duty and value added tax and collection fee added to
your package. iain
