A suggestion: take all the stuff out of the
bags and lay it around the room. Then go to your nearest Home Depot and you will
find, in the bug destroying section, some aerosol bug bombs for fumigation of
whole roomes. Open every shelf, cupboard, drawer and, as I said, all the bags.
Close the doors and windows, take the animals out of the house with you, set off
the bomb and leave the home. Leave for a whole 2 hours ( or the time it
says on the side of the can). You will be amazed at how quickly that stuff will
kill the current bugs. But., and here's the rub, there are still the eggs on
those furs and feathers. Now, bag everything up (if you have one of those vacuum
sealers, these work great). Keep everything sealed and isolated. Give it two
weeks, then open everything and treat it again..if necessary. Usuallly the
sealing without air in those vacuum packages takes care of the problem. I seal
all my "excess" back up furs and feathers in those vacuum bags. Works so great.
I take out only a small "working" amount when I tie the flies. Hope this helps.
