We have similar groups here. I haven't heard of such a thing happening yet. UFT is not allowed to get involved in political organizations though. I sure as heck wouldn't put a sticker on my car and then park anywhere near the docks. I have fishing docks five minutes from my house. The commercial fishermen are a tough group. They already have so many restrictions that work against them I could see where that would cause some serious problems. We just lost a boat of six commercial fishermen off Nantucket a few days before Christmas. Only one was rescued and it's a very hot issue right now. They're claiming the restrictions against them are forcing them to fish in unsafe conditions. I don't have any stickers on my car that would identify me as a fly fisherman or a member of one of these groups but my friends do have license plates that would indicate they are. I don't think they've had any problems. Deb

On a similar note we apparently have a similar problem here in florida. There's a national organization called CCA (coastal conservation association). they focus on representing recreational anglers in political situations like bag limits, license adoption, MPA/no fish zones, commercial fishing restrictions etc. From what I hear there are certain places & ramps where you shouldn't park your car if you have a CCA sticker and/or you look like a recreational angler. ice pick to the tire is supposed to be a pretty popular reaction. some people even have dead redfish stickers to show their opposition to CCA (CCA logo is a redfish). I haven't experienced this myself but enough people have told me that I'm cautious about where I park.
