That's about the time it all became a realization for me too. Also the winter blues aren't so bad here in the PNW though they could be when you can go 3 or 4 weeks without seeing the sun. But that's what Winter Steelheading is all about, it's like thumbing your nose at the elements and just doing it anyway.
