HI Todd
There isn't too much going on here either. The last day I fished was the 29th of December. I haven't fished yet this year. One of fishing buddies went today, but it was only in the low 20s here. I haven't heard how he has done.
I got skunked on the 29th. I did get one 23" on the 28th. I'm going to wait until the weather warms up to about freezing. The forecast doesn't look too good for a while.
Was that fish you got a brook stock fish that was about gone. I have caught several of them around here in years past. I got two last month in the ponds at 3 forks, but they weren't 30 inches.
Keep in touch and when it gets warmer maybe we can wet a line together. I'll let you do the hiking.

What's happening Dean? Not too much here.
I got skunked on Brown's Lake yesterday, but got a 30" stocker rainbow the
day after X-Mas. Sorta bittersweet, ya know?
I'm devouring Gary LaFontaine's book "Fly Fishing the Mountain Lakes" and
can't wait to load up the backpack this year. I'm thinking about hiking
into the mountains almost every weekend to try to escape the crowds.
Have you been up to much lately? I'm mostly reading and tying right now.
Getting ready to go back to school to prepare for the engineering track at
MSU. See ya soon :)
Todd
