Hey everyone. I went ffishing today at a local tiny feeder stream known to have big browns. Came up empty-handed as was expected after a year of not casting any line, but hey, I loved every second of it and I'm back into the sport.

I had gone into mountain biking big time and still am into it, but in winter, for some reason, I saw all the furs and feathers and chenille and whatnot collecting dust...broke open the tying box and started tying a wet. The feelings all came back, I felt proud at the end having whipped up a perfectly conical head and carefully snipped the thread. It took a few minutes to find the flyboxes but once the fly was in one and back in the vest, I couldn't wait to get on some stream. So I went to the Cain Branch which feeds the Patuxent river, and fell in love once more...
