4:30, just got the hood back on. Started at 8 this morning arguing with the
transmission. My friend Dave showed up about 9 and we continued to push,
pull, jack and twist till it finely dropped together. He started on the
bottom, me on the top bolting things back together. By 1:30 we had almost
everything back in and ready to test fire it. Fuel pump would not pump.
Started chasing wires, (electric fuel pump), and finely found a blown fuse.
Replaced it and pump started working. Must have shorted or pinched a wire in
the removal or installation. Got fuel to the carb and after some coaxing got
it to light off. Fussed with the carb some and finely got it to smooth out.
Actually, it runs pretty smooth, good oil pressure and everything works.
Pulled it out from the side of the shop and found out that I need to either
bleed the clutch or adjust it. Will look into that tomorrow. But, at least
it runs, will give it a short test drive in the morning. Really pushed it
today, but I have wheels again. Time to rest a bit and try to relax.

But, at least I have my fishing rig back on the road, I hope.
Jimi
