I have "All Topo" from Igage, (www.igage.com), for NM. Got it as a birthday
present from a friend of mine "Exactly" a year ago. Best thing I have ever
seen. I can build Topo maps 35 miles square and then have a friend print
them on a plotter. Would highly recommend them. So many functions and
accessories that it have become invaluable for me.

My oldest son gave me a 12 CD set of topographic maps of Texas. These
are made available by National Geographic. They are compatible with all
leading GPS receivers, work with all TOPO interactive map CD-ROMS,
includes all USA Atlas maps, live on-screen GPS tracking. Great for
in-vehicle laptop use. Unlimited Waypoint storage, GPS Route Wizard.
These maps are great. You can actually find the stream / river / lake
that you fish, and ZOOM in for detail. You can even draw a free-hand
route and TOPO ! displays its distance, generates elevation profile, and
prepares for uploading to a GPS. You can visit mapXchange to find and
post free, downloadable files that provide up to date info. Files are
provided by many of the best names in outdoor recreation. You can also
download free databases from www.topo.com I'd like to hear from
anyone on the lists who has and uses this system, either for printable
maps or uploading into their GPS. I haven't really done much with mine
yet. Got to get a GPS first. The next thing I will do is plot
waypoints for my favorite "fishin holes."

There's much, much more, too lengthy to list, but these are the best,
easiest to use maps that I've come across. Maps (CD's) for your state
are available for $99.95 and can be ordered from.
