Del: Check the following sites:
     fsdiscountarchery.com
     lancasterarchery.com
     outdoorsuperstore.com
     Stefansfloregium.com
I'm not sure about the last one. All these sites showed blank
recurves.

Del: years ago, when I was more into archery deer and elk hunting
than
I am now, I found a "local" bow manufacturer who sold me a recurve
"blank". All the laminating and initial shaping was complete, but
still
a lot of hand work to do. I think I paid $18 for it in 1978-79. I
still
have it, and it has served me well. It is fairly short for a
wood/fiberglass bow and draws 52 lbs. at 28 inches. Try some googling
and see if you can find a company that will sell you a blank.........

Bob,
That is an optionh, but unfortunatly I cant afford the proper
tools
to
plane down the limbs to the nesicarry weight. IE, I aint got the
tools,
LOL.
really all that I think would be needed would be a plane, rasp, and a
few good
knifes.
