Buggs and Dr. Demento have been working on an idea. Here's what they
dreamed up.
Mind you- this is not MY idea.
Take a 4' dia. kiddie wading pool (one of those solid plastic ones) and cut
out a hole in the center just a little bigger than your hips. Then use foam
padding to cushion the edge. Fashion a suspension belt system from you
waist to the inside edge of the cut-out. Now you have a circular stripping
basket that works in all directions and moves with you wherever you go.
Unsnap the belt holding it up and it will fall to the deck and allow you to
land your fish.
I told them it was far-fetched, but thay wanted me to tell you about it
anyway.
What's that? OK. I'll tell her. Ginger, they want rights and royalties if
you publish and use their design.

I have a mesh waste stripping basket. I only tried to use it
once on the boat. It was not deep bottomed. We sometimes
strip very fast and our line goes out very fast when we throw more
than 70 feet. So I think the bucket would work better.
