Roll cast with wind behind you,, aim the rod tip high and presto 15 to 20 yard casts aint dangerous. No false cast required. Works for me inhigh winds. Just get the wind behind thee !! LOL

I agree, but with nothing to brake the wind it is hard to cast. And I have
enough problems presenting a fly as it is, casting in a hurricane should be
avoided...;-)
