Now that was a DUMB question, Mark. Longhorn steers sell for way more
than longhorn bulls. A 15 year old registered longhorn steer with horns
that measured 86" from tip to tip, recently sold for $25,000 here in
TEXAS! My longhorn steer, Calico is only 7 years old and his horns are
already approaching 6 1/2 feet, which puts him near the top. I've had
several very lucrative offers for him, but think I'll just wait and see
if Calico grows into the all-time record longhorn. For comparison, I
recently sold my longhorn bull Diablo for $1,800, but Diablo didn't have
near the horn length of Calicl.
I'll send you a photo of Calico off list and let you judge for yourself
