No.. It would smash the hackles. I keep my dry flies in special fly = boxes for now. I have acrylic rods that I can mount them on in a shadow box. They are a little smaller than the rods they use for salmon flies and instead of drilling them you can just super glue the post to the hooks = shank at the bend. That's how I would do the dry flies. Just haven't had time and I have = too many flies now. Deb
