Jim, you GOTTA see Ray.........(the Ray Charles story)........in it, he explains why he liked, and why everybody likes (loves) country......in other words what it is, that makes it great. And you outta know by now, i don't use the word great in reference to people, only their accomplishments, By Way Of.
The reason all "Good" music is country is because it has it's roots in people and their stories of love, survival and hardship. It has evolved from a story itself, and grown of what came before it. It's very structure is rooted in simplicity, yet sometimes becomes intricate, and complex. But the message remains the same. Listen Bro. What you wanna hear is there. When it's country AND western, it's cause it's swingin' so hard, it'll swing you into bad health. lmao, DO see Ray Bro. "Just do it." mark.....

It varies for me, sometimes it's a game or a movie and other times it's just
the kids screaming and yelling. If it's a movie it's generally an old
favorite comedy that won't kill me not to see every seen. And on the
occasions when I've got music playing it's usually 80s new wave or punk.
Groups like "The Cure", The Mission U.K., Joy Division and the like. However
it's not uncommon for there to be Christian music playing such as The News
Boys or Audio Adrenalin. So as you can tell I run the gamut as long as
there's no country music playing (sorry just don't like the stuff).
