Dang guys, i wish i could give you the definative answer but i negelted to check that out when i was there. A friend was takaing me on a tour of the Henry's Fork and we were only in the Trout Hunter for a half hour or so. Dubbing is the one thing i have so much of, i may never need to buy more.... except for maybe seal or SLF. I think HOH dubbing is a blend though actually......which YES may have been "treated" with the gland oil. HOH does sell a CDC preening glad oil floatant for CDC dry flies. I bought some of that. I have it right in front of me and it says. Narural CDC Fly Dressing Peen Oil Based Floatant For All Delicate Dry Flies. mark.....

Hi Ken,

I am not familiar with this product but from your description, I think the
package is natural dubbing that has been saturated with CDC oil.

The oil would make the fibers of the dubbing more buoyant, so this would
be a product primariliy for surface flies.

If the package contained CDC feathers, you would notice the difference
from regular dubbing immediately. CDC is very delicate, downy and feathery
material.
