At 18 I had 20/145 vision in both eyes.  now at 52 I
find my arms are no longer long enough...so I have to
wear reading glasses (especially at computers or I end
up with splitting headaches. They have to come off
while I drive though.  That has only happened in the
last 5 years or so.  Can't complain, since I the only
one in the family who made it past 20 without needing
glasses.  so of course, most of the days I've had to
wear safety glasses in labs anyway...
