Yes, this is FDA approved. We've done the first two in our surgical
center..a very near sighted biologist who could not even begin to get
appropriate correction with Lasik. Instead, he had the intraocular lens
implanted with 20/20 vision. The neat thing about this is, that as your eye
changes, this lens can be taken out and replaced with one that is more
appropriate to the age and lens..not a possibility with lasik. Joyce
