Jim: With each new snow storm I go out and check on the various herds
of deer and elk on the mountains surrounding Springville. At times I
can see them (with my 10X binoculars) from my back porch. I agree that
they are magnificent. ( and delicious!!)

I came home yesterday afternoon to find a herd of 35 elk in my yard.
They are magnificent animals!

Just thought I'd let you know today I only saw one bald eagle on the
drive home. But seeing the sun set on Mt. Rainer, Mt. St. Helens, Mt.
Adams and Mt. Hood made up for it.
