I’ve seen that book on ebay Ronan.  I think it goes up in price quickly.  It must be a pretty good one.  Iain has recommended the North Country Spiders book to me also.  It looks like another good one.  I haven’t bought any of the soft hackle books yet but those are the two I would start with.   I personally have found a good way to judge some of these books is to watch a few auctions on ebay and see how they do.   I’ve bought a lot of books Iain recommended and they have all been very good!  Now that I think of it most of my library is made up of books he has recommended.  J  He really helped put me on the fast track to learning fly tying.

Regards,

Deb

Iain,

I was hoping that you will remember the book that you were talking about in this mail below. I think that it was about North Country Spiders. Can I get the name. I am looking for a good reference book on the NCSs and thought that this was one of them. Another I came across is Two Centuries of Soft-Hackled Flies by Sylvester Nemes.
Are you aware of this book?

Many thanks,

Ronan.
