You're so funny! That's exactly why I bought a DVD from another A.S. tier.
I would rather buy two of Charlie Chutes flies to one of theirs. His flies
are beautiful!!!! Some of these guys are nuts. JMHO
Some of those realistics on the other hand take a very long time to tie so I
can justify some of their prices.
The biggest obstacle to the salmon flies is the materials to fit those big
hooks. It's actually easier to tie the flies on 5/0 hooks if you could find
the materials. Ron ties his full dress salmon flies on these little itty
bitty hooks. That's a challenge.
I've been fortunate to be able to swap for some of the flies I've wanted.
That's nice. Although I think they're being kind to me. :) I hope to be
able to do that more in the future.
Regards,
Deb

Main reason i bought his DVD last year is becasue he wanted $600 for one of his A.S. flies. and i have yet to pay that much for a single fly, including one even God tyed. lmao. mark
Deb, lmao.......yeah i know who your referring to with that DVD, lol. I have
it too. I also have one of his flies, i got it in an auction at that thing
(the Summitt) i went to in Cleveland in 2003. It was so cool. He was sitting
right next to me, when the auctioneer said "SOLD." And i got what normally
would of been $300 for i think $220. Or less, LMAO. I also have one of
Charlie Chute's which i payed $300 for. Oh! and btw, there's nothing wrong
with a bit of kindness being shown. Beautiful women seem to get their fair
share, lmao. With your talent, you outta be able to build quite a collection
of flies by simply trading. Good luck. mark.....
