"Traditional" .... Hmmm... OK... a fly that 30 years ago was available in every tackle shop and could be recognised on sight by 95% of fly fishers.
Iain, traditional is very subjective. How far back are you talkin'? Your gonna HAVE to put a date on THAT one. mark
If you could only fish for trout with 1 fly of traditional style what would it be ? iain
Ok col Iain, in that case the Usuall would be my choice. Can dead drift it,
pop it under and back up, let it get water looged and fish it like an
emerger, or even tye it weighted or use split shot and sink it. GREAT fly.
