Demetro Tokaruk The Specs: Thank you all for joining. This should be fun based on the fact that you have no idea what you will be tying. I hope you can get some use out of the material chosen in your local waters, which is really the key here. I suppose it's ok to poach a pattern with the material given, but what good would that do you if it were a salt pattern and you live in (Colorado)? Be able to USE it! Also, the material may lend itself to duplicate patterns. If you know what you want to tie right away, post it. Let's not double up. Any "original" creations are highly prized in my opinion...Believe me, I want this to be something most people (except for maybe fanatics) usually don't use. No toothpicks or rock chips, but....you get the drift. Given the group as a whole, I think we will be able to gather some amazing ties. I really want to finish by mid-May if that is ok with everyone. Too much time means people forget and slack. Cool with everyone? If not let me know. I can say that nobody here has a reputation of dropping out. That's a good thing. No sweat if you have to but let me know. Oh, and keep me posted as to your progress. This lets me know you weren't arrested or anything. Early arrivals are most appreciated.
