Thankx for the compliment Deb, and the purchase. When i first started tying them, it was just to experiment........then folks liked them, and i started getting invites to do shows......so now it's sorta my signiture thing. It's cool to have a niche you can fill. There are so many fine tyers out there who shoes i can't even shine. Guys like Floyed Frankie, Grag Heffner, and Tom Mason, who just know so much, and are so versitile, almost makes me wanna go home and slit my wrist. But aint nobody doin' what i'm doin', and that's fun. People have a ball hangin' out with me while i tye one. You gotta be committed to spend an hour or two with a tyer. And those are the most fun folks to hang with. The ones who are committed. Dig? ~VBG~ mark.....

Tony
I finally met him. Some one took me over to his table in Danbury this year
and introduced us. I had missed him the year before. It was one of
those... "Did you see the fly I got from the show?" One of my buddies said
that after we had left. I didn't know Stack was there so he mailed me the
fly. A Lady Caroline spey fly. He's a very nice guy. It was nice to
finally put a name with the face.
Monte sent me a beautiful spey fly also. It would qualify as a "framing"
size though by Marks standards so I couldn't pick on Mark with that one.
Marks flies by far take up a lot more room in a frame. :) I had to get a
couple of them because they are the wildest spey flies I've ever seen.
You guys are going to have too much fun at the Sowbug!!
Regards,
Deb
