Well; Dono. I think you might have been sniffing tractor gas for that one. I 
guess if you were going to dig up an old pattern you would use a spade 
hackle?

I'm working days in Riverton, WY, now, and out in the field.  My 
customer's
office is 'festooned' with John Deere collectibles and memorabilia.  He 
has
mowers, trailers, tractors, combines, photos, hats- just about everything 
a
collector could want.

I told him I'd tie a yellow and green John Deere fly for his office desk.
He really liked the idea.  I was thinking of what kind of fly it should 
be.

Then it hit me.
I'll tie...
