I hear that they can be rather large as mayflies go.  I have seen the Gray 
Drake (a #10 slow-flying standard mayfly design)  on some of our central Utah 
streams, but I don't think that I have seen any of the others.  I know that 
their hatches are fabled.

The green drake is a big mayfly from a #8-10 usually which has a lot of fame in 
PA.  The critters usually are at treetop level around dusk and slowly drift 
down to the water.  The action can be incredible but the best fishing is at 
dark.Murf
