Hmm, well, I know that the rest of the pattern is a rusty-red/brown color, so the furnace hackle (with the brownish-red) makes sense. I have CDL in a badger-looking hackle, but from the sounds of things, it needs a furnace with black speckling and/or flue- ends. Thanks, everyone!! Tight wraps, Pete
