Well today was up in the 70s (unheard of for this time of year in nw OR.). At about 5:35 PM I was on the computer at my parents house when the kids came running up to the house yelling that the Mtn. was erupting. Luckily I had my digital camera with me and started snapping off shots of the HUGE plume of steam and ash that was being sent as high as 30,000 ft into the air (#s come from new casts). It was quite the site to see. I have pics if anyone is interested or if somebody has a site they could post them for me.
