Thank you! I'm only staying thru Wednesday. The kids are in school and I'm
leaving Steve to take care of them. If he finds a job by then I'm going to
have to fall to the good graces of my neighbors to get my son on the school
bus. :0) I have to go visit Grandma though.
I wasn't sure if Memorial day weekend would work in my favor or against it
as far as getting to meet you and John.
Can I buy a license to fish one day there or would I be better off just
visiting the fly shops? I'll probably stay at my Aunts in Mesick and travel
daily to Traverse since Grandma will have a full house? We could always
meet at the Fly Shop in Traverse and go for coffee on Monday (Memorial Day)
or Tuesday? I really would love to fish but it may be easier to get my
cousin to take me spin fishing so I don't have to carry all my gear for one
day.
Regards,
Deb

Are you planning to fish? You can go just south of there and fish the
Manistee (Tippy Dam is great) or the famed Pere Marquette. If you go
to the Pere Marquette, stop in Baldwin. Two shops there, both on 37 -
Johnson's Lodge (Orvis, so-so http://www.pmlodge.com/), and Baldwin
Bait-and-Tackle (http://www.fishbaldwin.com/). The guys at BBT take
care of the bait crowd and cater well to us fly people. The heart of
the flies only section is right there.

In Traverse: http://www.thenorthernangler.com/

Let me know your plans...I'll be south of there at a wedding that
weekend in Grand Rapids, but may come up to fish ...
