Henk: I have not been up the fishing around San Francisco for many years. At one time there was an excellent fly shop called Creative Sports in Walnut Creek ( This is inland from San Francisco) At the time it was owned and operated by Andre Puyans, who is an excellent fly fisherman, and quite a character. Most of the locals were doing their fly fishing in Putah Creek. I hope this helps. Everything may have changed since I last visited there. Maybe a search on Google would produce some more help.
